Many businesses in Longview, Texas (where I live) still spend hundreds or thousands of dollars every month advertising in the local newspaper. I am not saying that is a bad thing as the newspaper is still very popular here. What I don't understand is why a business does not spend a fraction of the yearly print advertising cost to create a professional website. In addition, I have seen multiple businesses that do not include their website address on their print advertising. If you have taken the time and money to invest in a website for your business then you need to let people know how to find it. If you have a website but are too embarrassed of it to share with current or potential clients then you need to invest in a professional website. I have even seen several business that advertised the incorrect website address or a non functioning website addresses in their print advertising. That is a quick way to loose potential customers.
